When I'm not in session, you might find me enjoying nature or diving into a good book, always seeking inspiration to share with my clients. Let's embark on this journey to better mental health together!

I grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa and later moved to Sioux Falls for my graduate studies. After marrying a South Dakota boy, I ended up staying in the Sioux Falls area for a decade. Eventually, I convinced him to try farm life, and we relocated back to Northwest Iowa in 2025. I strongly believe that small towns should have access to quality care similar to what larger cities offer, which is why I decided to open my practice in Paullina, IA. My goal is to combine the unique support and care of a small town with the dedicated expertise found in larger cities. Having worked with trauma throughout my entire career in various roles, my approach is to meets people where they are and not sit in a place of judgment for how they have managed surviving trauma.
I did my internship at the men's state prison in Sioux Falls. And I have been serving as a counselor and then as a clinical supervisor at The Compass Center in Sioux Falls since 2016.

In fall of 2024, I was honored to be nominated in the STEM category for the Sioux Falls area Embes award. It is a tribute to women that are making a difference in their areas of profession.
