Individual Therapy-Adults

Life can present us with a myriad of challenges, transitions, and emotions that sometimes feel overwhelming to navigate alone. Individual adult psychotherapy offers a confidential and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, non-judgmental environment. It's a collaborative journey designed to help you gain deeper self-understanding, develop healthier coping strategies, and foster lasting personal growth.
At its core, individual adult psychotherapy is a unique form of personal counseling where you work one-on-one with a trained and compassionate therapist. Unlike casual conversations with friends or family, therapy provides a structured and professional setting focused entirely on your well-being. Your therapist acts as a guide, helping you uncover patterns, process past experiences, address current difficulties, and envision a more fulfilling future. No matter the reason for seeking counseling, therapy offers tools and insights to help you move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
If you're ready to explore how individual adult psychotherapy can support your journey towards greater well-being, I invite you to schedule a consultation.
Individual Therapy- Teens

Adolescence is a time of immense growth, change, and unique challenges. Teen psychotherapy offers a safe and understanding space for young people to navigate these complexities, from managing stress and anxiety to coping with peer pressure, family changes, or difficult emotions. Recognizing that traditional "talk therapy" isn't always the most natural or comfortable way for teens to express themselves, my approach integrates a variety of engaging and effective mixed-media techniques.
Beyond verbal communication, we can explore feelings and experiences through:
-
Art Therapy
-
Music Therapy
-
Expressive Arts

Talk Therapy

and more
Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Developed by Dr. David Grand, it is a relatively new form of therapy that builds upon the principles of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other somatic (body-oriented) therapies. The core premise of Brainspotting is that "where you look affects how you feel." When a person focuses their gaze on a specific "brainspot" – an eye position that correlates with a deep, emotionally charged issue in the brain – it allows the brain to access and process unprocessed trauma and emotional distress that is stored in the subcortical areas of the brain.
Community Education

I focus on providing valuable insights to organizations, community partners, and schools on important topics such as trauma and the brain, the impact of violence on communities, self-care practices, and ways to support loved ones impacted by trauma. My goal is to foster understanding and promote healing within the community. Contact me for further information on community education.
